Objectives and context

TERO realised the final evaluation of a project supporting the organic and Fairtrade production of the Atsemawoe Union in Togo developed by AVSF. This project aimed to improve agricultural and post-gathering practices of the Atsemawoe Union, permitting the increase of the volume produced and strengthening the capacities of the Union to access to Fairtrade and organic certifications and markets.

Simultaneously, TERO supported AVSF to strengthen the capacity of Uropcs’ members (Regional union of grain producers of the Savanes region) to commercialise their agricultural products.
