Objectives and context
TERO carried out the final evaluation of the Allpamanta project promoting agroecology in the Pinchicha province of Ecuador. This project was implemented by the provincial council of Pinchicha, in association with AVSF and founded by the European Union. The project aimed to improve the food sovereignty of the Cayambe region and of the agricultural families in the area by developing public policies supporting irrigation farming, the agroecological transition of farms and the promotion of local food markets.
