Objectives and context

This mission is part of the third agricultural program convention of Inter Aide, for 2016-2019 period and financed by the AFD. It consists in helping the NGO Inter Aide to improve its evaluation and capitalization practices through a continuing evaluation support during 3 years. Inter Aide has intervened for more than ten years in prioritized areas by the program convention. The objective of this mission is to strengthen the capacity of the institution at central and local levels, to demonstrate the impacts of the actions implemented in favour of the disadvantaged peasant families of 4 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Services provided

This mission is deployed through 3 main stages:

puce triangleYear 1: review of monitoring and evaluation systems and prioritization by country of cooperation and at institutional level

puce triangleYear 2: support to data collection and analysis in order to answer to evaluative questions, and follow-up of specific studies through support missions in the countries and distance support

puce triangleYear 3: final evaluation of the program convention, based on the datas generated in previous steps
