Objectives and context

TERO realized the evaluation of the Procacao project, implemented as part of the cooperation of the French local authority CD92 (Conseil Départemental des Hauts de Seine) and a diagnostic of the cacao sector in Haiti. The Procacao project aimed to support the development of the organic and Fairtrade cacao sector in the North Department of Haiti, through capacity building of farmer organizations and cooperatives members of the Feccano Federation, the local partner, an increase of cacao production and an effective management of cacao commercialization on the organic and Fairtrade markets.
